As you go about your journey. Its so important to remember why you’ve started.
With all the talk of of simplicity, intentionality, and minimalism its easy to reach a stalemate. A place that can dangerously lead to complacency and comparison.
I had to take a step back to remember that everyone is on a journey but the direction might be different than others; even though we may use to same tools.
Its so easy to compare ourselves to others. This mindset developed over time as technology advanced. Please understand I am a big fan of technology when used properly. For this instance I’m speaking on when technology is used passively or voyeuristically.
As we declutter and remove excess from our lives its important to reflect and examine our values. I would advise that you ask yourself important questions as you continue to move forward.
Be intentional about what you consume mentally, physically, and spiritually. Understand that there are times you won’t always have moments of happiness but those are the best times to reflect and express gratitude and be open for new opportunities.
The universe buries strange jewels deep within us all, and then stands back to see if we can find them.
